Adventures in personal hygiene

I was busy marking exams for three weeks and had no time to post. There's plenty to post about and now I have some time, but it's just too hard to type (or shower or brush my teeth or brush my hair...). I tripped over a branch while running the other night and fell, breaking my hand. It's just a small fracture, but the doctor in the emergency room insisted on putting a cast on it, so now, not only does it hurt like hell to shower (we have a hand-held shower head which I can no longer hold in my right hand), but I have to wrap my arm in plastic to even try. I'm hoping to trade this cast in for a plastic one. Anyway, if I disappear for another three weeks, you'll all know why.

I am so sorry that you broke your hand. Your session is close to being over isn't it? Best wishes on a speedy recovery.
